The Fabulous Swiss Army Maverick II 24135
Victorinox (Swiss Army) is the most respected knife and watch manufacture in the world. It was 1884 in Ibach-Wchwyz Switzerland that Karl Elsener started his company. Karl started his own cutler's business which became very successful. Karl did supply the Swiss Army with soldier's knives in 1891. The PX stores of the US Marines, Army and Air Force after the Second World War sold the 'Swiss Officer's Knife' to their officers and soldiers. The 'Swiss Officer's Knife' became known as the Swiss Army Knife. In 1989, the Swiss Army Watches entered the US watch market with amazing results. The Swiss Army 24135 Maverick II was developed by Victorinox. Victorinox in 1992 opened up sales branches in Japan and other area's as Poland, Chile, Brazil, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Mexico, and London as time progressed.
The Swiss Army Maverick II is a swiss analogy quartz movement watch made in Switzerland. The numerals on the black dial watch are bold white for ease of viewing. The watch includes a stain finish stainless steel case with a screw in style of caseback and a unidirectional elapse time bezel that rotates in one direction only. The watch includes the date function at the four o'clock position and the amazing markers and luminous hands for night viewing. The swiss army cross and shield logo is molded into the synthetic rubber band that is designed for longevity. The fabulous watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
