Constant reboot with Gigabyte X48-DQ6 Motherboard Processor & RAM
day before yesterday When i start my pc, PC crashes and restart, I get no picture, sound or such, just 5 seconds ago that the PC boot, and fails after ~ 6 seconds starts to boot , at 5 seconds later to fall out.
Configuration * Gigabyte X48-DQ6 * Intel core 2 duo * Memory 2gb * HD4850 512MB* 850Watt power supplyWhen I power off the hall after the PC has not successfully booted,, give 2 loud beeps from the motherboard itself. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong, and what I can do to solve it?
Try to reset the CPU cooler, make sure you've applied the thermal paste correctly. Also ensure the 24-pin and 8-pin power plugs are inserted. OK to continue, Try it without the HDD and also check that the second power header is plugged in fully. It can be a tight fit.
Memory has always worked, have this system now for over 1 years, but recently I have the HDD's and CPU replaced. For the rest, I'm not even in the BIOS as the machine starts, 5 seconds long to live, without images, because to go back and restart. I can not possibly in the BIOS.
Here's what you can try, Lower your memory dividers and up your memory voltage as most of the time if it fails to boot then it's memory related, otherwise, It can be Your VGA card or your power supply, but timings can try Search on internet for the best timings in your bios to set.

Intel Core I7 980X - Great Product, Good Feature Together With The Best Price
Well, I too dropped victim to receiving the box using only the cooler, sticker, and cold weather paste inside. My first order was designed into December 30, along with a motherboard, shipped because of Arizona and arrived on January 3. The actual shipping box was fine, but one time I opened the box, I noticed at once that there was packing tape within the Intel box, which was torn, plus a nice hole where the processor needs to have been. So, contacted Amazon, shipped back the box aided by the fan inside, and ordered another Intel Core i7 980X and so i didn't have to wait another week to receive my system going. This time it shipped from The state of nevada (no idea if this helped me or not) and also got my CPU. Hopefully they catch the jerks that are stealing these (not sure if it's happening as they receive the product in inventory or during shipping to customers) simply because it sure is disheartening opening your new toy to search out nothing there!
I got everything created pretty quickly and this thing screams! I went with a i7-860 with 8 GB of RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY and an Intel 160 GB SSD, on the Intel i7 980X with 12 GB of RAM and then the same Intel SSD. I was worried at first that there wouldn't be that a lot difference, but this thing is just so crazy fast I don't think you can throw enough at it to completely slow it down. I haven't had an opportunity to do any video encoding yet (I used Handbrake on the i7-860 and on my iMac) but I won't wait to see how it should. I also haven't yet had time to see how much of difference the following beast makes in games, but I don't really expect an immense difference on that front as MY PARTNER AND I already had, and still have, a ATI 5870, which works great. I mainly went for this that will boost my encoding and try to obtain more into photo and video editing. Everything I've seen and read about this CPU is it's pretty much the best consumer level processor you will get to do this type of deliver the results.
I have had no problems on this. A bit pricey, but worth truly penny. All i can really say is that i've never needed to overclock my processor, this contains enough capacity to do anything i need it to faster than another computer i've ever used. When casino, my FPS is completely unfazed while all others i know can barely run 50 % of what i do.
The Intel Core i7 980X is the king belonging to the processors, if you have that extra $1k and do not know what to buy with that... This is definitely a great solution.
5+ stars, without a doubt.
Will an ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 64 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler work with an intel cpu?
I recently bought this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185125) cpu fan, and when I went to install it it said it needed an amd retention module to install it. Will this not work with my intel e8500?
OKay.. you bought the wrong product. The Freezer 64 works on on AMD sockets.. take it back to newegg and buy the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro and that one will work on your cpu.
Here ya go this is what you need. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835186134
