Would these be a good CPU Cooler?

the computer is about 1 - 2 years old, and nothing is overclocked.
I leave the side casing door open to allow more ventilation.
it may not be the just the fan. You might try cleaning out the front vents and fans as well as cleaning off the processor's heatsink..Without propper airflow, your motherboard and other parts will heat up, which tells the bios to spin the fans faster...
The other thing to do is to remove the heatsink from the processor, clean both the processor and bottom of the heatsink of old thermal paste using at least 79% alcohol from a drugstore. Then re-apply some arctic silver 5...just a grain of rice sized dallop on the proc as it sits in the socket. Gently place the heatsink back onto the proc and gently twist back and forth. Then attach the clips or screw it down...
