RAID drive as a slave?

so i got this old server, and it had 2 RAID drives in it. i took em out, and put in ATA and installed winXP.
now ,i want to set up the RAID drives back in as slaves. (preferably without erasing the information on them)
now when i plugged them in, XP wont boot, it just takes me to a RAID configuration (looks like BIOS) screen.

You need to install the RAID driver software that comes with the 2100s. (This is called a "host adapter.") If you don't have it, maybe they'll have it at the Adaptec site for download...

Be sure and set the boot order in the bios to boot to your main drive with XP on it.

Maybe it would be better to reformat them and use them as regular hard drives.
