I am using a Pentium III, is it time for me to get a new computer?
Well, I have a pIII 889 mhz, 256 mb ram and nothing else, it has windows 95
Is it time for me to get a new computer or should i wait few more years till this machine stops working
I am willing to spend about 4500 us $ for once in a lifetime so, any ideas, what should I get
Yeah, regarding "lifetime" i didn't mean it literally, i just wanted to say it must not need upgrade any sooner
maybe, if only use it for browsing it's still a good rig, if you want to play games then you have to change.
windows 95 is crap even on that pc, you can optimize it just by installing windows xp on it and your life will be much easier for visualizing stuff on youtube working, surfing, etc. if you want a good rig, 4500$ will not buy you a computer that is actual for a lifetime, 5 to 6 years tops, but 1000 to 2000$ will buy you a machine that is actual for 4 to 5 years and if you spend 600 to 1000$ you may have a machine that is actual for 2 to 3 years but if you do that, be sure to choose upgradeable parts so you will spend less to keep your pc actual on the long run.
